What would you highlight about HIZ HOTEL Ginza
Very Good
Great location near 4 metro stations and not that far from Tokyo train station. Clean, with all the facilities a family needs. Was great to do washing and hang it on the balcony or in the drying room. Separate bedroom was good, sofa bed in the living room/kitchen was a bit cramped, but that's Tokyo!

Great place to stay
The place is spacious, clean and looks modern. The bed was comfortable and our toddler loved sleeping in it. There was a washing machine, way to dry clothes, dishwasher, and rice cooker which were all useful especially with a toddler in tow. The location was great. Easy to walk around and quiet neighborhood. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Only one pan is available for cooking. It would've been nice to have a couple more. Instructions for using the dishwasher was not included in the manual and the washing machine in the manual was a different one than we had in the apartment. There were instructions for sorting garbage but we only had 2 bins.

Short foodie and shopping trip to Ginza
We arrived more than 2 hours early, thinking that we will leave our luggage and return to check in later. We were surprised that the unit was ready, and were allowed to checkin so early. The self-catering unit was very clean, all facilities were as advertised and worked well. It was within walking distance of many shopping places and restaurants. Our flight was at night, and we paid a bit more to check out at 3pm (subject to availability). Check out was simple, just placing the key into a box at reception.

What would you highlight about HIZ HOTEL Ginza
Good stay but. Could have been cleaner.
We stayed here last year and we liked it despite that the apartment wasn’t clean enough. We chose the two bedroom, which is spacious for a family of 4. The location is great as it’s few mins walking distance from Ginza. MRT is close, and there are a couple of convenient stores just around the corner.
The lack of cleanliness. Specially behind the furniture and the light bulbs. There was an opened shampoo already in the toilet, which needless to say, it didn’t belong to us. When we arrived we were given an apartment in the 8th floor, and the second room was really uncomfortable. There was a TV but the cable had been cut, so, at the end we didn’t have a TV. When we came back one week after, we were given another apartment located in the 5th floor, and everything was functional, and there was even a broom and a vacuum cleaner, which the other room didn’t have. The second room was more spacious as they put a double bed. Compared to last year, there were fewer plates and utensils, and only one pan and one cooking pot. The staff should double check what there is in the room, and what is working and what is not. Small details do matter.
